Stories from the practice seats

These notes mention real session formats—practice drills, mentoring, and clinics—not star ratings.

“During the four-session block we spent an entire hour on lunch-hour absorption. I still overtrade quiet ranges sometimes, but I now flat the size when volume dries up instead of inventing a story.”

— Sora P., equity day trader, Incheon

“Private mentoring dug into my Tuesday fade against the opening drive. The instructor paused the replay at the second lower high and asked what the cumulative volume was saying. That single question paid for the meeting.”

— David L., USD/JPY scalper

“The weekend clinic moved slower than I expected, which was useful. We annotated three failed breaks around prior day high before anyone talked about entries.”

— Haneul J., KOSDAQ trader

“Practice Lab day passes let me replay Monday’s open between mentoring visits. The desk is quiet; bring headphones if you talk through your checklist out loud.”

— Marcus T., index futures

Extended note: opening-range week

Minjae joined a Tuesday practice session after two weeks of chasing first five-minute breaks. The group mapped overnight inventory, then ran three replay drills where volume had to expand through the range before a long was allowed. On Thursday’s live open he waited for a second thrust with rising participation, took a half-size probe, and scratched when the next bar closed inside. The debrief captured the scratch as a success condition. He returned for mentoring to tighten the invalidation rule further.
